Religion teaches hatred
Becoming religious at some point you become the hater of humankind instead of love for the same. It is in religion you are told the music you listen to comes from the devil yet it’s humans talents and gift that delivers. Art comes in many forms. Others do write, paint and sing. All are gifts from God supposedly. I don’t deny that humans have a tendency of abusing both the talent and gifts. In some religions, you are told what type of music you should listen to. However, it is by choice what genres you ought to be listening to and enjoy. I supposed it was meant to be selective instead of listening to everything. Yes, I get that, we got different tastes. I find that kind of religions as more similar practice as of a cult. If you are restricted to explore life and only you are permitted to marry only from the same sect you belong to or Church, that to me sounds like a cult.
It is so funny to find that a woman that goes through menstruation considered to be unclean, yet that is part of nature. It is just too much discrimination straight from the scriptures and makes me wonder if real love is the main ingredient or purposed destination of all humankind. I am not trying to protest and enforcing my own interpretation, this is just an opinion and that’s how I feel sometimes. I find it so very disturbing when a male preacher, the priest is given a second chance and that he’s been attacked by the enemy if he found guilty of infidelity, yet a woman is close to being stoned to death if she commits similar. I’ve got a feeling that all the wars around the world started from the religious argument, that is just another opinion. Religious helps to minimize crime and discrimination against race, gender and so on yet slavery is commonly found in religious sects. Racism is not born out of religion but it is possible that the most man and women of the cloth are caught in the act of discriminating others based on the colour of their skin.
When someone doesn’t share similar faith with you for some reason you believe that person is going to hell. That is hatred at its best. If one has a different faith as yours the only thing you see is hell. I get it, religion is not here to solve all the problems of the society but at least love should remain the center. Love on its own will never resolve everything. I love it when one preacher said, ‘You are not going alone to Heaven, you might as well get along with people whilst you are still on Earth”. Ok, not too sure what will happen or happening now there but it is clear, we are put on this Earth to fulfill the certain task and enjoy life without trying to make everyone agrees to you in everything you believe in. If all faith can learn to tolerate each other without working so hard enforcing one of a particular above the other, or superior. It is good that one has a stand. What is it that you stand for? You don’t have to prove that which you value much as giving life against or at the expense of someone else’s belief that differs to yours.
It is through religion you get to hear that the music you listening to is from the devil. Including your own culture is considered so inferior that everything practiced is so evil and ungodly. People abandon their family traditions thinking it will be holy to adopt a new culture, maybe western that portrays faith in that way as pure. Most abusive men are religious. They become so dominating as taught that man is superior, head and one ought to submit and stuff like that. A woman is considered to be so humbled if she keeps her mouth shut despite all abuse going on behind closed doors. She has to protect the dignity and family reputation by not reporting domestic issues yet if she commits adultery she must be brought to the public to be stoned. No one finds it religious to ask where is the man she committed adultery with. Wow! Some religions are so radical in such that one needs to follow and obey without questioning. It is being rebellious if you refuse to follow unless you understand first. Hatred is taught not love.
At some point in life growing up as a Christian I found it so hard to hear some leaders in the faith used to say we shouldn’t read anything but the Bible. It never sits well with me from the start. Let alone to hear the same pastor or preacher at the end of the same encourages everyone to buy and read his latest book. To be told the music you’re listening to is the devil’s just so hating. I do understand that there are sects and powers behind some musicians to join a certain movement, selling your soul and stuff like that but before all of that someone is talented and gifted. The toughest thing is believing all conspiracies to realize later that the accused was just exceptional in what he/she was doing. There were no forces except natural abilities. I am not advocating the hidden acts in the success of many same as I believe there is both witchcraft and evil altogether. People are fine until they attend a certain sect practices and teachings they become enemies of those who don’t belong to the group.
Molestation cases are found also in religious sects, the least places to expect such acts. Yes, I know there are some radicals in every religious sect or faith we cannot paint every member with the same brush. Humans are as spiritual without having to be consistently attending any gathering. We are spiritual beings we hungry for the same in the middle of nowhere, there is no need to wait until you attend a service to be fulfilled. The fellowship is the reason we have to meet to catch up and make collections to meet the needs of the less fortunate both among us and in the entire society. It shouldn’t be so selfish. Have you ever notice how people feel so guilty if they go to Church without having money to give yet they feel nothing if their actual neighbours going through lack. It is as if whoever they serve is a cruel man or woman. Indeed for resources to be collected and sent those in need sparingly, fair and square, there must be a meeting or gathering somewhere. But it is hatred and heartless not to feel guilty if one of your immediate family member or neighbour is in need and you prefer to give at your organizational sect. Love is part of it and hatred is sometimes found
